Letting Go.

When you’re young and lost, you hope to see a beam of light at the end of the tunnel and pray that it leads you to your fulfillment. That ray of light is a hobby, passion and/or love. You want it the moment you find it. You want to look at it for long enough that you can sleep in its imagination and wake up to its thoughts. You want to hold it so close, so firmly that its scent takes over your senses and you can float in the fragrance for the rest of your days. And then you let it go with a note. A note that says, ‘It’ll be alright.’

But you never forget the very moment when you felt the entire universe fall at your feet. You look at the sky and see the stars dancing to a ballet routine. The moon looks from far away…
